How to review a Sock Too report
  1. Check the status and dates. A current report is marked Valid. Expired, revoked, and preview records are not current passing attestations.
  2. Confirm the organization. Check the name, website, and signatory against the business you are dealing with.
  3. Read the answers. Review individual controls and any In progress or Not yet answers. A passing score does not mean every control is implemented.
  4. Match it to your needs. Decide whether the declared practices meet your requirements. Ask the organization for supporting evidence when needed.
